Daniela Carralero Somoza, MD
I'm Daniela Carralero Somoza, PGY-2 US IMG from Lakeland Regional Health. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico into a Cuban family and did medical school in the Dominican Republic. So I have in me, a bit of every Caribbean gem. I am passionate about prevention and leadership, with a strong enthusiasm for growth and guiding others. My IMG journey has given me resilience, which has helped me become a better physician and mentor. I invite all students and residents to join our ACP council, where you can engage in exciting activities, build valuable networks, and contribute to the growth and development of residents and students. Let's learn, lead, and grow together!
