Jose Raul Valery, MD FACP

Chair

My clinical practice is outpatient primary care internal medicine within the Division of Community Internal Medicine at The Mayo Clinic Florida in Jacksonville. I completed medical school at the University of Florida College of Medicine in 2012 and completed my Internal Medicine Residency and Chief Residency at Mayo Clinic Florida in 2016. I currently serve as Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency at Mayo Clinic Florida for ambulatory medicine. I've been participating at local chapter ACP meetings since I was a resident in poster competitions and Doctor’s Dilemma, and as an Early Career Physician, I continue to participate as a judge for poster competitions and coaching our residency Doctor’s Dilemma team. I look forward to contributing to the Florida Chapter ACP in my role as co-chair of the Early Career Physician Council along with Dr. Avan Armaghani. Please feel free to email with any questions!
